IT AUDITOR - QATAR
We are recruiting for one of the leading premium Group of Companies in QATAR, Tunisian IT Auditors.
OBJECTIVE/ PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Performs professional internal auditing work. Work involves conducting
Information technology, financial and compliance audit projects;
providing consulting services to the organization’s management and
staff; providing key input to development of
the annual Audit Plan, Maintains all organizational and professional
ethical standards. Words independently under general supervision with
considerable latitude for initiative and independent judgment.
EDUCATION, QUALIFIQUATION, AND SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE:
-At least 2 years experience in internal Auditing and IT related field.
-Excellent auditing competencies built on experience in audit, controls and management systems.
-Strong analytical skills.
-Highest levels of personal integrity and professionalism.
-Ability to maintain an independent attitude and deliver quality audits.
-Experience and knowledge in IT General Controls, Application and network Controls and Information Security.
-Exposure to compliance, financial and operational audits.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
CUSTOMER/SUPPLIER: INTERNAL
-Develop a detailed understanding of the activity under audit, including IT risks and controls.
-Assess IT risks and internal control strengths and weaknesses.
-Execute the work outlined in the audit work program.
-Document the work performed and conclusions in electronic work papers. Work as part of integrated audit teams.
-Regularly interact and communicate with management to discuss and
present audit results, gain acceptance and provide advice to remediate
on audit issues.
-Advise IT and business stakeholders on
control best practices within their processes to reduce risks and
improve efficiency and financial profitability.
-Performing IT
related reviews such the system’s physical security, IT project
management, network and information security management.
-Testing of IT General Controls, Applications and Information security.
-Execute Compliance, financial and operational audit.
CUSTOMER/ SUPPLIER EXTERNAL:
-Assist consultants and external auditors in conducting all the planned
and agreed audits, in a manner consistent with Management objectives.
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT:
-Keeping the Audit General Manager / Audit Supervisor informed
regarding the status of audits in progress, and contacting the Audit
Manager regarding targeted audit completion and scheduling of the formal
audit review meeting.
-Maintaining appropriate working relationships with location personnel and staff auditors.
-Develops and maintains productive staff relationships through individual contacts and group meetings.
ANALYSIS:
-Collecting and analyzing evidence.
INNOVATION:
-Identifies needs and improvement opportunity.
-Provides recommendation of innovative IT solutions to next level in
order to facilitate change or improvement at a process level.
STRATEGY:
-Provides inputs towards the short term strategic planning process at the department.
-In consultation with next level assists in the implementation of short strategic goals of the department.
