-Performs audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting client processes and procedures.
-Conducting the entrance meeting at the beginning of each audit.
-Conducts interviews, reviews documents, develops and administers surveys, compose summary memos, and prepares working papers.
-Identifies, develops, and documents audit issues and recommendations using independent judgment concerning areas being reviewed.
-Explaining, where necessary, the purpose of specific program steps, documentation required, and tests to be performed.

-Reviewing Audit work papers prepares by the staff member assigned and initiating such work papers to indicate review and satisfactory completion.
-Upon work paper review, preparing to do lists or counseling the staff assigned as to additional testing, editing, further documentation judged necessary or how unnecessary work can be eliminated in the future.
-Evaluating the efforts of the staff member assigned, complimenting good work performed and constructively criticizing work needing improvement.
CUSTOMER EXTERNAL/SUPPLIER:
-Assist consultants and external auditors in conducting all the planned and agreed audits; in a manner consistent with Management objectives.
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT:
-Keeping the Audit Manager / Senior Auditor informed regarding the status of audits in progress, and contacting the Audit Manager regarding targeted audit completion and scheduling of the formal audit review meeting.
-Maintaining appropriate working relationships with location personnel and staff auditors.
-Develops and maintains productive staff relationships through individual contacts and group meetings.
ANALYSIS:
-Collecting and analyzing evidence.
INNOVATION:
-Identifies needs and improvement opportunity.
-Provides recommendation of innovative solution to next level in order to facilitate change or improvement at a process level.
OPERATIONS:
-Assembling the draft audit report, seeing that all point sheets have a disposition, and determining those findings to be included in the report or those to be handled as minor finding.
-Presenting and communicating audit finding at the audit review meeting, and drafting local management responses in the audit report.
-Pursues professional development opportunities, including external and internal training and professional association memberships, and shares information gained with co-workers.

OBJECTIVE/ PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Performs professional internal auditing work. Work involves conducting Information technology, financial and compliance audit projects; providing consulting services to the organization’s management and staff; providing key input to development of the annual Audit Plan, Maintains all organizational and professional ethical standards. Words independently under general supervision with considerable latitude for initiative and independent judgment.
EDUCATION, QUALIFIQUATION, AND SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE:
-At least 2 years experience in internal Auditing and IT related field.
-Excellent auditing competencies built on experience in audit, controls and management systems.
-Strong analytical skills.
-Highest levels of personal integrity and professionalism.
-Ability to maintain an independent attitude and deliver quality audits.
-Experience and knowledge in IT General Controls, Application and network Controls and Information Security.
-Exposure to compliance, financial and operational audits.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
CUSTOMER/SUPPLIER: INTERNAL
-Develop a detailed understanding of the activity under audit, including IT risks and controls.
-Assess IT risks and internal control strengths and weaknesses.
-Execute the work outlined in the audit work program.
-Document the work performed and conclusions in electronic work papers. Work as part of integrated audit teams.
-Regularly interact and communicate with management to discuss and present audit results, gain acceptance and provide advice to remediate on audit issues.
-Advise IT and business stakeholders on control best practices within their processes to reduce risks and improve efficiency and financial profitability.
-Performing IT related reviews such the system’s physical security, IT project management, network and information security management.
-Testing of IT General Controls, Applications and Information security.
-Execute Compliance, financial and operational audit.
CUSTOMER/ SUPPLIER EXTERNAL:
-Assist consultants and external auditors in conducting all the planned and agreed audits, in a manner consistent with Management objectives.
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT:
-Keeping the Audit General Manager / Audit Supervisor informed regarding the status of audits in progress, and contacting the Audit Manager regarding targeted audit completion and scheduling of the formal audit review meeting.
-Maintaining appropriate working relationships with location personnel and staff auditors.
-Develops and maintains productive staff relationships through individual contacts and group meetings.
ANALYSIS:
-Collecting and analyzing evidence.
INNOVATION:
-Identifies needs and improvement opportunity.
-Provides recommendation of innovative IT solutions to next level in order to facilitate change or improvement at a process level.
STRATEGY:
-Provides inputs towards the short term strategic planning process at the department.
-In consultation with next level assists in the implementation of short strategic goals of the department.
